Prepare yourself for another post in our Crafty Chaos series....

Hey, y'all! It is time for another Halloween costume post! Today, we'll be sharing with you how to make a super easy and cute DIY apron (for Alice and Wonderland, or almost any other apron-requiring costume). Let's just jump right into it, shall we?!

Step 1: Gather your supplies. You will need some white fabric (we got ours from Hobby Lobby for just $2.62 on clearance), some pins, fabric scissors, and whatever trim and additions you want to throw on in the end.

Step 2: Cut your apron down to the length and width you want.
*Note: We cut this into a perfect rectangle, and it did not occur to us that it might look better if we cut the length on a slanted angle (so it starts out thinner on top and then gets wider on the bottom). So, you might want to do that. But the perfect rectangle thing isn't bad, either.

Step 3: Pin along three edges (all but the top, because we'll be folding that edge over ribbon later) prior to sewing seams.

Step 4: Yep, you guessed it! Sew the seams...
*Note: If you don't want to sew, you don't have to. You could fold over the edges and "hot glue in seams," or skip steps 3 and 4 altogether.

Step 5: Cut ribbon to the length you want it, so you can tie it around your waist, and have plenty of extra room for a cute bow in the back!

Step 6: Place the ribbon along that top, dab on some hot  glue, and fold it over!

Step 7: Now that the actual apron is done, you'll just want to add the extra cuteness! Why not start out by adding some colorful ribbon along the bottom-ish of the apron?! Just cut it to the right length, and hot glue it in place! Easy!

Step 8: Now, try to think of something that REALLY ties it in with your costume, and is super unique to your Halloween character. Just for fun. In my case (for Alice), we added a playing card! We just hot glued it on...because we LOVE hot glue...and sparkle!! *wink wink*

And that's it!! Now you have a super cute apron for your Halloween costume!

Thanks for reading, and don't forget to tell us what costume your apron is for in the comment section below!!
