HEALTHY BLENDER MILKSHAKE!!

First of all, we just want to say we are very sorry for not having posted in so long! Our finals were this past week. To make up for it, we are sharing perhaps our greatest kitchen creation yet: the healthy chocolate shake! We did this one numerous times until we perfected the recipe, so hopefully you LOVE it as much as we do!

Actually, funny story...we were trying to do a Wendy's Frosty copycat recipe (we tried several we found on Pinterest) and did not really have success with the ones we actually had all the ingredients for. I was too impatient to wait for our next trip to the grocery store, so I started experimenting with "healthy" versions of the recipe (because we had the ingredients for the healthy crap) and we still weren't happy with the results. But I did like the consistency, so I adapted it to keep the consistency, but change it up to get a better flavor (or a flavor at all, really). And we both really ADORE the flavor. It is so, so, so good! Not Wendy's Frosty good, but equally good in its own department!

Here is the recipe:
1 cup almond milk
4 heaping Tbsp. fat free cool whip
1 scoop (36 grams) vanilla protein powder
2 Tbsp vanilla
1 Tbsp natural, unsweetened cocoa powder
2 cups ice
Toss all the ingredients into a blender (in order), and blend on the "ice cream" setting, so it will come out nice and "milkshakey!" You can sprinkle a few chocolate chips if you want.
*Most of the flavor comes from the protein powder, so make sure the powder you use is yummy! We used the CytoSpot 100% Whey Protein Vanilla Powder (which is by far the yummiest we have ever had, and the perfect addition to any smoothie)!

This stuff is so good for you, as it's packed with proteins and vitamins, and so delicious!

Thanks for reading, happy blending! :)

LABEL IT!

Prepare yourself for another post in our Crafty Chaos series....

You are trying to find a certain something, but you can't remember where you put it. Is it in the Sterilite box on the top shelf? Or maybe in the basket below it? Or in any of the other dozen containers you have? You just don't know! So, you take twenty minutes going through every container you own until you FINALLY find it!

Well, you will never have to waste twenty minutes trying to hunt down a certain something again! Just slap a label on all of those containers, so you know exactly what is in each one, just by looking at them! That's right--now you do not have to remember exactly WHAT GOES WHERE, because the label will remember it for you! And, don't fret, you do not even need a fancy label maker to come up with some cute and helpful labels!

You just need some paper, some letter stickers (or maybe a Sharpie if you'd rather write on your label), and some stamping ink (just to jazz up the cuteness a bit more)! And since you probably already have leftover materials from past projects, these labels are FREE! It's simple, fun to put together, and it will save you so much time and stress in the future! And because it looks nice, you will be extra motivated to keep everything organized!

We used a Cricut machine to cut ovals out of plain white printer paper (about 3.5 inches wide) and "shadow block-out" tags out of patterned paper. We used different letter stickers to actually label it, added a little color by inking up the edges of the labels, and then used paper clips or ribbon to attach the label to baskets or boxes.

How precious are those labels?! They are awesome, right? It is a great way to help you STAY ORGANIZED!

Feel free to share any of your organization tips in a comment below, and have a FABULOUS day!
